* “Gals”? Who is this event for?

This event is for the gals! At the CBR Gals Network, being a “gal” encompasses anyone who identifies with and actively supports the wellbeing and empowerment of women in Canberra. Our community welcomes individuals of all gender identities who share our dedication to fostering meaningful connections and advancing women’s rights and equality.

I’m attending alone, is that okay? 

First of all, WELCOME to the Network! Did you know that the majority of the gals who attend our events for the first time come alone? We create spaces that help you feel welcome so that you can find your people! Upon arrival, we’ll provide you with some tools to help you maximise your experience and meet like-minded gals.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? 

Must be 18+ to attend.

What if I have financial hardship and am not sure I can attend the event? 

One of CBR Gals values is ensuring all events are cost inclusive. Please email us for a no-questions-asked concession discount at Rae.Knopik@cbrgals.com.
