BEADING NIGHT: CBR GALS X EDITH

Ready to meet like-minded gals? Join us on Thursday the 25th of May, 6pm at Verity Lane’s Edith, located at 50 Northbourne Ave.

In the lead-up to the event, we’ll send you a short personality quiz to learn more about your dreams, goals, interests, and aspirations. We’ll then pair you with 2-3 individuals who have similar interests.

On the night, Edith will be stocked with everything you need to make your very own jewellery confection (think! a necklace, bracelet, body jewellery, anklet or phone dangly) with your new BFF’s over a glass of bubbly, and delectable conversation. No need to bring anything—just excitement and your best self! Expect the typical quirky charm of a Canberra Gals event, infused with a little extra creativity.

I’m attending alone, is that okay?

First of all, WELCOME to the Network! Did you know that the majority of the gals who attend our events for the first time come alone? We create spaces that help you feel welcome so that you can find your people! Upon arrival, we’ll match you with a gal and provide you with some tools to help you maximise your experience.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes. While this event is for meeting and connecting with new people, you have the option to bring a pal to sit with. We’ll include the option to “sit with a friend” in the personality quiz.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? 

Must be 18+ to attend.

What if I have financial hardship and am not sure I can attend the event? 

One of CBR Gals values is ensuring all events are cost inclusive. Please email us for a no-questions-asked concession discount at Krishaa.tulsiani@cbrgals.com. 

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! Edith is a ground floor venue, and accessible bathrooms are available. If you have any other requests prior to, or during the night that will make you more comfortable, email Krishaa.tulsiani@cbrgals.com or chat to any CBR Gals staff there.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? 

There is plenty of parking, but we recommend rideshare or carpool!
