Do Nothing (and do it better) for DVCS – Self Care Session with Liz Brimage

‘You can’t heal what you don’t let yourself feel.’

THIS is the mantra of the moment, and Elizabeth Brimage of @Newstory.movement’s CTA (call to alleviation) to begin to heal our bodies and hearts from this stressful time of home isolation. After all, it’s time to check in with yourself, FEEL STRONG, and connect with the Gals – who are here for you.

While the suggested price is $10, this virtual event is open to ANY gal (at any fitness level) who needs to connect to others in a calm and safe space. This class is meant to help you reconnect for some much-needed self-care and recognise that breathing is the first act of human life and the last. In other words, it’s that fundamental “thing” we need more of to live more fully in the here and now.

For this special collaboration, all proceeds will be donated to the Domestic Violence Crisis Service to alleviate the ACT women and men affected by the rise in domestic violence during COVID-19.

The hour-long session will be led by Elizabeth, a coup de foudre of the CBR Gals Network since she joined The Network last June.  It will include discussion, breathwork, and curated exercises to help the body relax and build strength to overcome adversity in these challenging times. We hope you’ll join us.
